About the Author
Mika Song is a children's writer/illustrator who makes stories about sweetly funny outsiders. She grew up in Manila, Philippines, and Honolulu, Hawaii, before moving to New York to study animation at the Pratt Institue. Mika has illustrated several books including A Friend for Henry by Jenn Bailey which received the Schneider Family Honor from the American Library Association. Her graphic novel Donut Feed the Squirrels was nominated for an Eisner award.
